Ah, to be a kid again! Children's day is a holiday in Japan. It isn't until May 5th, but (un)fortunately we're all off for vacation! Well, that won't stop us from celebrating the day in school!
Our pre-intermediate class took part in a popular Children's Day activity where we make old-fashioned warrior helmets out of paper. It's a kind of origami that we made using newspapers.
After that, we indulged in every child's favorite activity, consuming sweets! Everyone could enjoy the traditional "Kashiwa Mochi".
No matter what age may be written down, we're all kids at heart!
