If you've been to our main school recently, you may have encountered a couple of dolls in the lobby.
These dolls are for the "Hina Matsuri", or "Girl's Festival".
Taking place on March 3rd, people in Japan put up these beautiful dolls in their homes. People also eat and drink traditional and colorful sweets. It's a way to hope for luck for one's daughter's future.
Make sure to check them out! They're usually quite expensive to buy, so it's a good chance to experience the tradition without spending money!
