As much as people want to just relax and party all day, the unfortunate fact of life is that money is also needed to survive. We also need to collect school fees somehow, so we try to encourage our students to get a job if they're interested. To further improve on that aspect, we also invite job placement services to come to our school and give seminars.
Essentially, they'll tell you the basics of what is needed to apply in Japan, such as filling out resumes and interview manners. Then they'll give you an interview in Japanese and then introduce you to a shop or company that is appropriate for your level. As our students continue to study and improve their Japanese, their job opportunities also improve.
So, we had such a seminar the other day, divided up into different languages and job types.
Hopefully everyone got some good ideas and will be able to be gainfully employed!
